I mean without the constuction workers the architect could not realize his dreams, and of course the other way around is true as well. Yet we seem mostly to celebrate the architect rather then the whole which went into the project.why?

Most things like this are based off our perception of that which is harder to perform.
Using your example: Any average person will think that anyone can swing a hammer and nail, but it takes someone with exceptional skill to actually design the whole building with both stability and aesthetics.
So it all depends on people's perception of another's skillset value.

I agree with you in some kind,
its truth that we try to sum-up success into one man or woman efforts.
but this happens in the things around us, i mean to say like in families, when one child is given credit for something his brothers and sisters together had worked for.
It happens when they announce the _____Man Of The Year.
One man gets the cake when the whole company under him was getting the ideas what made him that he is today.
Sadly, this is the way things are here in our world, we don't appreciate the water, sunlight, nourishment that makes a tree, one beautiful tree.

In an immediate sense, the idea begins with the architect, but this idea itself is derived from something greater than both architect and worker, so both should be seen as subordinate to the idea/architecture. This is why I would rather say to somebody what my favourite album is rather than my favourite band.

It is called chain of power – the chain of power gets the credit for all aspects of a task. little or no credit is given to those that make it happen. In construction the architect is the one who envisioned the design and is placed at the top. The construction bosses tell the foreman's that tell the carpenters that is aided by the laborers to perform the task but yet when the time comes for credit the one who started it all is the only one noticed. That is because he was the one who started it all. Why this happens is because those that start things like this place themselves there. If someone else would try to place themselves in that position then chances are when a new task came around they would not be called to perform. We allow it only because they are the ones in charge and they are the ones paying us.
